Life would not be complete…

Without more Buffy photos!!! :):) These are from my graduation party. Sadly, that is the last time I’ve seen the little girl. I hear she’s getting so big!!! And developing quite the personality. She is attached to my parents. They can’t even leave the room. But she loves to run, and to play, and to be into everything. Especially the toilet paper! You can’t let her in the bathroom or you will find toilet paper trails all over the kitchen.

Last night was her first night at doggie training, and boy did she get into trouble. My mom called to report that she was the only dog to get sprayed with the water bottle, and not even once, but 5 times! She kept barking at the dog next to her. In her defense, it wasn’t appealing to look at.

Tomorrow night, I’ll get to see her again, and I’m very excited 🙂 My mom says she’s grown a lot and has become  easier to train and work with, and more lovable!

Graduation :)

That day has FINALLY come!!! 🙂 On June 3rd, 2011 after only being in my program for a year, I walked through my graduation ceremony.

I’m still “in school” until August. Well, that’s when my requirements get fulfilled and I receive my diploma, but my last class is actually July 6th. I’m in the process of finishing up a class that ends next week, then another on July 6th, then my independent study session that finishes when I turn in my papers.

I’m basically considering myself finished though. 🙂 I’m applying for positions and looking forward to moving. Where I’m not sure yet, but where ever a job takes me. I received a call back for an interview yesterday, so we’ll just see how that goes next week.

But for now, on to photos!! My parents surprised me with a “Surprise Party” after the ceremony (That lasted three hours!!)

My Parents

Sneak Peek.. Graduation.

It’s been a busy time for me! My final classes are really taking a toll on me, plus I’m working two jobs (one FT, one internship). I wanted to post a sneak peek at a graduation photo 🙂 This past Friday (June 3rd) I walked in my Graduation ceremony earning my Masters Degree!!

I haven’t received my diploma yet, because the requirements have not been met. They will once I finish these classes. But just knowing that once the classes are done, that I am done. Is a HUGE relief!!

So take a look at my fam (complete with Puppy) and I will get working on the rest!

Buffy Marie <3

We finally have our puppy. And what a charismatic bundle of joy she is! We’ve had her for 2.5 weeks and she’s really progressing well! 🙂

But I’ll just get to the photos 🙂

Playing Catch Up…

It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted. 😦 Sadly, it’s been a really crazy week! School was out for the week. Whoohoo! But that means it was time to catch up on work, and life. Andrew and I were at least able to make it out one night this week for dinner and drinks.

The same night he took this blasted head shot for my graduation. (only a few weeks away!) I think I just look weird. I’ll blame it on allergies and being dead tired. I was really sick that day.

Yesterday Andrew left for Baltimore/Dover for the Nascar Race this weekend.

Which his photos  are AMAZING. 🙂 Best race he’s had! And he got extra photos of Carl Edwards 🙂

You can tell that’s my favorite. 🙂

We’ve also been able to workout more this week 🙂 Plus for me, since I’ve lost crazy amounts of weight. I guess it’s moving to mostly an all vegetarian diet. I say mostly, because I still eat meat. I just choose not to a lot of the time.

I’ve been trying to spend as much time as I can at Wildwood Metropark. It’s amazing for running. And, really pretty.

I spent Monday night there, and then moved on to a local high school to watch Andrew kick. He was the place kicker for University of Toledo, and wanted to start practicing again. I got video, but the file type is not allowed on here, so on video 😦

This week has been good for workouts though.

Monday – Ran 5.06 miles

Tuesday-  Sick/Rest

Wednesday –  2.5 mile run (was supposed to be 3, not sure how I finished a 3 mile trail only doing 2.5 miles)

Thursday – 3 miles elliptical

Friday – 4 miles elliptical/treadmill

Saturday – 3 miles elliptical

I also lift 3 days a week. I’ve been nursing a knee injury, so i move back and forth between running and the elliptical. Tomorrow should be at least a 6 mile run. Let’s hope for no rain!

And in other randomness, Andrew rappelled off a 200ft water tower for an assignment at work. He was getting a photo of fire training, and they asked if he wanted to go down the water tower with him.

I told him he looked like a dork. Just because I love him.

I had to save the best for last, because I also have some really great news :):) I have an interview this week for a job in my field (Emergency Response Coordinator). It’s about an hour and a half away, which may or may not be good. I’m extremely excited/lucky to be given an opportunity to go to an interview for the exact job I want before I’ve even graduated. We’ll see what happens when I go this week! There will be a lot of factors involved in this, so we’ll see how it all plays out!

And a random photo!

I’m obsessed with that white sweater. Thank you NY & Co. 🙂

Buffy at 7 weeks.

It’s time for a new photo of the puppy!! 🙂 She’s seven weeks old now.  She is “really playful and curious”. Cannot wait to pick her up!! :):)

Isn’t she adorable?! I swear she’s like a little polar bear!

Counting down until May 20th!!

Happy Easter in Nashville.

We woke up Sunday morning to rain, rain, and a lot more rain! It was doing some nasty things outside. Tornado sirens even went off in the area. It wasn’t raining in Downtown Nashville, so Andrew went off to shoot a Baseball Game.

Photos here.

We we’re picking up Brett Young from the airport. Follow him on Twitter (@MrBrettYoung), Now that I mention it. Follow Tiffini & Cory too! (@tiffiniholland && @coryholland)

His flight was unfortunately delayed, so we had a little more time to relax and procrastinate before heading to the airport.

When we got there, though, all bets were off ! It was time to immediately get acquainted and go Downtown! While Downtown we went to one of the higher bridges for photos. Gorgeous Views !

It was breathtaking!

After looking at the city from above, it was time to check out the city on the streets!

When the group is together, you can’t cut out pony races.

We walked around and shopped before getting dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.

We also got some group photos!

=) the night couldn’t be complete without some sights, and a hockey game. We watched the Nashville Predators  win the series, while standing outside.

We spent a few more hours at Tiffini & Cory’s house before a looonngg 8 hour drive home. It was brutal! But I must thank Tiffini & Cory for a great weekend! 🙂
